Cappadocia Charming Red Tour
You will be picked up by your guide and driver at 10:00 from your hotel. Our first stop is Goreme Panoramic view point where you will receive information about the history of Cappadocia and the unique rock formations then take pictures of Pigeon Valley. Next, we visit Pasabag Valley that contains some of the most striking fairy chimneys in Cappadocia as well as St. Simeon’s monk cell. Next stop will be Goreme Open Air Museum, The famous Museum is a UNESCO-listed site containing a whole valley dedicated to a large religious community through to the 10th century. There are extensive underground spaces dedicated to feeding and caring for hundreds of people – kitchens, refectories, classrooms – and many churches and chapels. Most of the churches are decorated with colorful fresco or secco technique wall paintings illustrating scenes from the Bible. After more than 1000 years, these paintings using local and precious imported pigments in pigeons’ egg-white are still fresh and vivid. Next, we will stop at Devrent Valley also known as Imagination Valley to take photos.”Then, we will drive Avanos for home made lunch .
After lunch, we will see a kick — wheel pottery demonstration in Avanos and our guests are welcome to try this tradition.
Our last stop will be unique shaped rock formations at the scenic viewed Love Valley. You will arrive back to your hotel around 16:30 pm.
